Das Interesse am Kindertanz ist in den letzten Jahren spürbar gewachsen. Unsere Volkstänze sind häufig stark partnerbezogen, weshalb nur wenige für Kinder geeignet sind.
So wurden für dieses Buch in jahrelanger Vorbereitung viele überlieferte Kindertänze gesammelt, nach Altersgruppen zusammengefaßt und aufbereitet.
Diese Sammlung soll dazu beitragen, die natürliche Bewegungsfreude unserer Kinder im Tanz und Spiel zu wecken und den Weg zum Österreichischen Volkstanz vorzubereiten.
