Some People are mixing up Vienna ("Wien" in German) with Venice ("Venedig" in German):
Venice is that old city in the middle of water where you have boats instead of cars. Yes, there in Italy the climate is a bit warmer than with us. However, sometimes they have snow as well. In European dimensions Venice is far away from Vienna.
Vienna is the capital of Austria (which is sometimes confused with Australia) and the United nations are keeping offices here.
It has more than 1 million (1.000.000) inhabitants and tourists like it for its old buildings and the culture.
